RESUME
As
a freelancer and independent contractor I serve a large metropolitan
market telecommuting with clients all
over the U.S. and Canada. To communicate with clients I use the phone
(I have a VoIP phone with unlimited U.S./Canada time), email (sending
.jpegs or .pdfs of mockups and design proofs), FTP sites for uploading/downloading
files, and through the Internet for putting up live demos of work to
date.
Since
1994, as an Iowa State University student, I have worked in all aspects
of document transcribing and conversion.
If
you need accurate written documents transcribed from court proceedings,
interviews, dictation, business meetings, conference calls, focus groups,
press briefings, lectures, radio shows, panel discussions, seminars,
or any medical-related sources, please contact me.
In
1998 I began coding my own websites, and
was quickly recognized for creating carefully crafted designs that appeal
to both aesthetic sensibilities and an edgy techno/nouveau flair. I
was asked to start designing sites for others. With
two degrees in Education, I utilize my teaching experience in designing
websites and communicating with clients.
Along with website design, I offer Content Management System (CMS) expertise. My CMS skills include collaboration with a team of front and back end professionals; formatting, editing, and hand-coding pages; as well as prepping images for the web. My most recent client is the Unitarian Universalist Association.
